Personal Work Tomorrow at Daybreak

March 11, 2011, the Tohoku Earthquake occurred.

The earthquake caused huge damage to east coast of Japan and 18,524 people died because of the earthquake and tsunami. I worked with my friends in Japan, we made a website to archive the moments of daybreak from disaster region with the hope of rebuilding Japan.

All folks in the project team are all from Tohoku, and I myself am from Ishinomaki city in Tohoku.

The website title and a poem in intro part is by Victor Marie Hugo. The poem was dedicated to his daughter who died after her marriage.

Sunrise doesn't only mean hope for tomorrow, but also means that everyday is same no matter what happened and it's so precious for people's lives.
